Skype Instructions.

After you have received your business or personalised Skype background, you’ll need to upload and install your background on Skyoe to see it in action. We break down the steps below to get you started. Feel free to contact us if you require any further help.

How to change your background in a Skype video call

Change background during a call

  1. Open the latest version of the Skype app for Windows and Mac, or use the web app if you prefer.
  2. While in a call, click the More menu or hover over the video button
  3. Click on Choose background effect
  4. You can then choose an image you’ve already used or upload your own one.
  5. Simply click Add new image to add your custom background to your Skype call.

Change background before a call

  1. Open the latest version of the Skype app for Windows and Mac, or use the web app if you prefer.
  2. Click on your profile picture or the 3 dots …
  3. Then click Settings, then Audio and Video.
  4. Under Choose background effect you will be able to upload a new background by clicking Add image.
  5. Simply upload your Skype background.
